·    I plan on attending the University of New Mexico to acquire my bachelor's degree in engineering. I'm still undecided on what type of engineering I would like to solely focus on.

·    I see myself as an adult, self-sufficient, with a bachelor's degree and a job that makes me happy.

·      My favorite memory from attending Aztec High School were the countless hours I spent with my best friends in Pre-Calc, thinking we were losing our minds. I remember joining the class late and it always being super chaotic right after lunch. Everyone was always falling asleep. We had a foreign exchange student in your class that kept everyone on their toes, including our teacher, Mrs. Lucero. I remember feeling so proud to even finish one of our homework problems, which were extremely difficult.

I'd like to thank Mrs. Lucero for being the most incredible and understanding teacher. She's a wonderful person who made me believe hard work pays off. She never made me feel embarrassed for asking questions and helped my confidence grow with every math problem. I see how she struggles with her students now, and I don't want this profession to tire her out because I've never met anyone else so fit to be an educator. Thank you, Mrs. Lucero!
